The Handsworth & Lozells CommUNITY Team has commenced work to deliver a programme of activities developing and implementing community conversations/dialogues with communities of Handsworth and Lozells.
The team has been established as part of a broader and more significant programme of work to create a long-term transformational vision for the area including the extension of the Neighbourhood Management Approach.
We successfully launched the CommUnity team and the proposed dialogues in November at a Community Fun day in Lozells where residents were given the opportunity to quiz top senior officers from cross public sectors, including Birmingham Chief Executive Stephen Hughes and Jackie Mould from Be Bham.
